Frequently Asked Questions About Our Dance Classes
What age can my child start dance classes?
We welcome dancers as young as 2 years old. Our preschool dance program introduces young children to movement, music, balance, coordination, and classroom skills in a fun and encouraging environment. We also offer recreational and competition dance classes for children and teens.
Can my child try a class before enrolling?
Yes! We offer a free trial dance class so your dancer can experience our studio, meet the instructor, and find the class that's the best fit before registering.
Do Dancers need dance experience?
Not at all! Many of our students begin with no previous dance experience. Our classes focus on building confidence, learning proper technique, and having fun in a supportive environment.
What should my child wear to dance class?
Students should wear comfortable dance attire that allows for movement. Ballet classes require ballet shoes, tap classes require tap shoes, and jazz or hip hop classes may require jazz shoes or clean indoor sneakers depending on the class. Specific dress code information is provided after registration.
When can students register?
Registration for our full-year dance season typically opens during the summer, and new students may enroll throughout the season as long as space is available. We also offer summer dance classes and special workshops for dancers of all ages.
Are there recital requirements?
Yes. Our recreational dancers perform in our annual end-of-year recital, giving every student the opportunity to showcase what they've learned throughout the season. Costume and recital information is shared well in advance so families have plenty of time to prepare.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes! We offer family tuition discounts for households with multiple dancers enrolled. Contact us for current pricing and discount details.
