Platinum Dance Company has the lowest prices in Henrietta, NY
Recital Classes are once a week from September to June and tuition is billed MONTHLY
Non Recital Classes are once a week for 8 weeks at a time. They are billed at the start of each 8-week session.
Each class meets 4 times a month for the per month price
Class fee is Monthly NOT per class
Policies
Class Size:
Class scheduled times and start dates are Subject to change! Group classes with 4 or less students MAY have time or day changed or cancelled.
Class Withdrawal:
Early withdrawal from a class before the completion of the year requires a 30 day written withdrawal notice emailed to [email protected].
The parent/guardian will be responsible for your tuition until your notice is sent and accepted.
In the event of closures or restrictions, recommended or mandated, by a governing body, classes will continue virtually over ZOOM. Dancers have the option of taking their classes virtually or making them up in comparable classes in accordance with our Make Up Policy once we return. In the event of a closure, withdrawal notification policies and non-refundable payments remain unchanged. We are not able to refund or pro-rate due to unforeseen closures.
Registration fee:
Once a dance year registration fees are $25 for the first dancer and $15 for each dancer after in the same family. Each full year dancer will receive a registration shirt.
Dance Costume Fee:
A $75 costume fee is due November 1st for each class your child is enrolled in. Costume fee includes tights with each costume and accessories . A $15 late fee will be charged every month the costume fee is past due *Costume fees are non-refundable after December 24th! Costume fees over $200 need to be paid by cash or check. NO VENMO OR CREDIT CARD!
Dance Recital Fee:
A non-refundable $60 recital fee is due May 1st per family. This fee will help to defray the costs of auditorium rental, staffing, programs. Each Family will receive 5 recital tickets total.
Dance Annual Discount:
If you chose to pay for the entire year up-front, you will receive a 10% discount. This payment needs to be made by check or cash only by October 1st. After tuition is paid in full and a refund is requested there will be a 25% charge
Family Dance Discount:
If you have more than one child enrolled the child with the most participation pays full, the second child pays 20% off; the third child pays 30%; the fourth child pays 40% and any more are free.
Dance Assistantship:
If your child is asked to participate in an assistantship you will receive a work credit of $20 per month for every class (based on 4 classes per month) assisted.
Payment:
All payments (in their entirety) must be received on the 1st of every month. Methods of Payment: Payments can be made by Cash, Check, Master Card, Visa or ACH Bank Draft. VENMO is NO longer accepted for tuition.
Late Fee:
After the 15th of the month, a late fee of $15 will be added to the balance every month your payment is past due. If there is a hardship, please speak to the office as early as possible. Overdue accounts may result in students being unable to participate in class until the account is brought up to date. If an account goes 3 months past due the student will be asked to leave the studio
Attendance:
Tuition will not be adjusted if a student misses a class.
Sick Policy:
Please DO NOT bring your child to class if they are sick or not feeling well. There are a lot of kids coming in and out of the studio and we would like to keep all of the students and teachers as healthy and happy as possible. So if your child left school sick or was not well enough to go to school please do not bring them to class. Missed lessons may be made up during another class of same age and ability.
Returned Checks:
A $25 dollar fee will be added for all returned checks. After two incidences payment will only be accepted by cash or money order.
Solo, Duet or Trio:
A student must be in enrolled in a year long class in the style of solo, duet or trio they would like to perform
Fundraising:
We offer up to 2 optional fundraisers a year to help with fees
